Also, kudos for bringing back some of the voice actors who’ve been with this franchise for a very long time. The video quality of the DVD is 16×9 Widescreen (1.78:1). Everything looked well-detailed, bright, and colorful. LEGO Scooby-Doo!: Blowout Beach Bash has some action sequences but it is all kid-friendly violence. The main characters kept their original personalities, including trademark catchphrases. There are also songs in this film that made me remember the old Scooby-Doo cartoon series.

While the story isn’t complex, it’s still fun to see the gang try and solve it. In true Scooby-Doo fashion, the gang starts collecting clues which point to lost treasure. The mystery has to deal with ghost pirate attacks and its link to people abandoning the beach. Having grown up with these characters, I just want them to take a long vacation. It is up to Scooby and the gang to get the party back on track, without missing a beat.Ĭoming to the review, I liked how Fred, Velma, Daphne, Shaggy, and Scooby-Doo aren’t looking for a mystery but still find themselves solving one.
